Open European business office in Dublin, Ireland

Hire first employees in Ireland

Invest in first ex-U.S. Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS) site in Limerick

In 2013 Regeneron opened European business offices in Dublin, Ireland.
Regeneron achieved planning approval and the Limerick IOPS facility was built in 2014.

Achieve planning approval and commence construction and upgrade work on the IOPS
Limerick facility

Regeneron hired its 350th employee

Hire 350th employee (exceeding initial projection of 300 employees by the end of 2016)

Commence construction of new quality control labs and process sciences building at the IOPS Limerick site

Acquired HPRA site approval for the Limerick IOPS facility in 2016.

Recieve HPRA site approval for the IOPS Limerick facility within 21 months of commencement of project operations

Manufacture first validation batches

Regeneron invested $100 million and added 300 jobs to the Limerick Facility. FDA & EMA approve medicine for sale in 2017.

Announce plans to invest an additional $100 million and add 300 jobs at the IOPS Limerick site

Receive first Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European Medicines Agency (EMA) approvals to manufacture medicine in Ireland for sale in the U.S. and EU

Marks the thirtieth anniversary of Regeneron’s founding
