Opened our European business office in Dublin, Ireland
Hired our first employees in Ireland
Invested in our first international Industrial Operations and Product Supply (IOPS) site in Limerick
Achieved planning approval and commenced construction on our Limerick facility
Hired 350th employee (exceeding initial projection of 300 employees by the end of 2016)
Commenced construction of new quality control labs and process sciences building at the IOPS Limerick site
Acquired HPRA site approval for the Limerick IOPS facility within 21 months of commencement of project operations
Manufactured first validation batches
Announced plans to invest an additional $100 million and add 300 jobs at our production site in Limerick.
Received first Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and European Medicines Agency (EMA) approvals to manufacture medicine in Ireland for sale in the U.S. and EU
Marked the 30th anniversary of Regeneron’s founding
Construction commenced on the laboratory and administrative building in Limerick
Reached a milestone of 1,000th employee in Limerick and announced the addition of 400 new jobs
100th employee joined the Dublin office
